Once you got our protection
key, you are free to download any update of NCS MagiSign
we will develop for the relative version of Adobe Illustrator.
This latest update
of NCS MagiSign for Adobe Illustrator 8 and 9 adds support for some newer models of
plotter, like SummaCut SE (with OPOS), SummaSign Pro SL serie
(with OPOS) , Graphtec CE-3000 series and Graphtec FC 5100 series

Any attemps to use
this version without the right protection key would crash your
computer.

Any
attempt to use NCS MagiSign update without the corresponding
protection key will lead to
a sudden crash of your computer
Before to install any update,
please launch Adobe Illustrator running your older version of
NCS MagiSign and keep note :
- the name of the plotter selected
- all the parameters of the setup
of NCS MagiSign palette
- all the options of the plotter
setup dialog
- the current port setup available
through the NCS MagiSign "Port" dialog
2. Quit Adobe Illustrator.
3. Keep the older NCS MagiSign
away from the "Plug-in" folder of Adobe Illustrator
and place the most recent one inside this "Plug-In"
Folder.
4. Check the memory allocation
:
Before
to use NCS MagiSign, you MUST allocate more memory to Adobe Illustrator.
We
recommand a minimum of 10 mb more than Adobe standard memory
setup. We also highly recommand you to disable the virtual memory
and to restart your Macintosh before to allocate more memory
to Adobe Illustrator.
5. Launch Adobe Illustrator now.
NCS MagiSign will appears with its default setup
6. Press the mouse on the top
right corner arrows of the NCS MagiSign palette to select
the range of your plotter.
7. In the menu at the top of
the palette, select than the right model from this range
8. Setup the serial port following
your notes
9. Setup NCS MagiSign using the
same data's than previously.
