Ottignies Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, November 27, 2004. New Ceres Solutions today announced the release 1.5 of NCS MagiSign, its collection of plug-in's for Adobe Illustrator 10 and CS under Mac OS X (Jaguar and Panther)
The new release of NCS MagiSign extend the compatibility of this sign solution to some new models of cutting plotters, including some USB one like SummaCut, Summagraphic Pro SL (DMPL and HPGL) or Graphtec CE 3000 and FC 7500 (HPGL and GPGL). Some other ones are currently in developpement so internal driver for other new models would soon be available.
If you have jumped for year through hoops of exporting Illustrator drawing to sign apps in order to plot them, NCS MagiSign will change your life. All you have to do is to fill a few parameters in the MagiSign palette within Illustrator, and send the file off to the plotter : as easy as printing. Simple and very effective.
NCS MagiSign allows to drive more than 300 models of vinyl sign cutting plotters directly from a palette inside Adobe Illustrator. And to install the cable between a Macintosh and a plotter, it's now as easy as to plug the both sides of a USB cable with some models. For the other older one, just buy a Keyspan adapter and plug the right serial cable : it's done.
