The MagiSign Project Manager
The Project manager provides the most important features to transform a design into sign project, i.e. unlimited scale by size and by percentage, offset, frame and margin.
It appears at the top of a palette that can be shown or hidden at any time while designing in Adobe Illustrator™.
The values are updated at any time while you are designing in Adobe Illustrator, so you may for example design a project at its printing size in Adobe Illustrator and specify the corresponding scale needed to transform it in sign. Illustrator will than display the value in original size, while the NCS MagiSign project manager display it at the defined scale. In our sample, the car was designed at 1/10000 : NCS MagiSign indicates you the projected size of the selection to reproduce on your plotter, while the paths in Adobe Illustrator are scaled.
The Project manager displays additional information, as the maximum copies of the project available on the width and the high of one tile.
The unit is by default the same as the Adobe Illustrator ones, but can be modified through a pop-up menu, so you could create an artwork in points in your favorite software and display at the same time its relative size in inches or any other unit in the NCS MagiSign palette.
